For those who would like some personal attention from somebody who was born on the Lake but has all the skill sets to both educate and illuminate your stay. Danilo (see his life history below) will both accompany you and introduce you to those unseen and little known places. Such a well known character can open doors and reveal the inner workings of the Lake’s businesses and styles of relaxation.
For your consideration is a day in St Moritz, leave “Prima isola” at 7.30, be on the slopes for 9.30, ski the all day and get back around 7.00 pm. The following day you could go shopping together and also visit the very special places, the Lake doesn’t often advertise well, such as the olive oil groves, the smoked trout business etc. In the afternoon you can start to’ cook a dinner together usng local ingredients to local recipes (read more about Danilo below and you will see why he is such as good host and guide).
If you wish to visit Switzerland, across the border why not try an accompanied trip leaving in the morning at 9.30am and being escorted to this special town. You can then be shown the sights by a native speaker. With such a good network of contacts feel free to suggest your own ideas as well.

Danilo was born on Lake Como. His early education was on the Lake and was followed by attending a school specialising in Hotel Management, in Bellagio. After receiving the Diploma, he moved to Folkestone, UK, to study English and Literature and also worked at the Hilton in Stratford upon Avon.
After 3 years he moved to Germany to study at the Goethe Institut in Rothenburg “Ob Der Tauber” and subsequently worked at the Mainz Hilton. A few years later he started to moved around the world working for the Hilton chain, every six months he moved to another continent and country.
At the age of 24 Danilo came back to Lake Como and started to work in the summer in local Hotels and in the winter in St Moritz. As the years progressed he became the food and beverage manager of the Grand Hotel Tremezzo. After 6 years at the hotel, Danilo took a year’s sabattical. It was at this point that he met Harold and this is how he came to be with HHH.
Danilo has a son of 12 years from his first wife and his heart now lies with Maite, a lovely Spanish lady. Spending lots of free time with Sebastian & with Maite, Danilo loves all kinds of sport, however his favourite hobby is cooking and traveling.
